Delivery terms

Pickup and delivery options depend on each farm and service area.

These terms explain how pickup, farmer delivery, and future Neighborly Harvest-managed delivery may work across marketplace orders.

Fulfillment Types

Orders may be fulfilled by customer pickup, farmer delivery, or Neighborly Harvest-managed delivery when that option is explicitly available for the order.

Farmer delivery is handled by the farm unless the checkout, order details, or service description clearly states that Neighborly Harvest is managing delivery for that order.

Availability and Scheduling

Pickup and delivery availability depends on service area, farm schedule, inventory, order cutoffs, customer address accuracy, payment status, weather, routing, staffing, vehicle access, safety conditions, and other operational limits.

Delivery windows are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Farms or Neighborly Harvest may contact customers if weather, inventory, address, routing, or operational issues require changes.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate address, phone number, delivery notes, gate codes, pickup information, and any access instructions needed to complete fulfillment.

Customers should be available during the pickup or delivery window and should promptly retrieve perishable items. Delays, incorrect addresses, inaccessible locations, unavailable customers, or unsafe handoff conditions may affect refund eligibility.

Failed Delivery and Perishable Handling

If delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, unavailable customer, unsafe location, restricted access, severe weather, animal or property hazards, or other conditions outside the delivering party's control, the order may be rescheduled, returned, canceled, or marked fulfilled depending on the circumstances and product perishability.

Perishable products may not be eligible for refund when they have been prepared, packed, routed, delivered, left according to instructions, or made unavailable to other customers.
